A founding partner of Longs Peak Family Practice, Dr. Roach has been practicing medicine in Longmont since 1982. For the past 12 years, she has served as President of the Boulder Valley Independent Physicians Association.

In 1973, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree, with Honors, from Denison University in Ohio, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa during her junior year. She received her MD from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1977. After completing a three-year residency in Family Medicine at the University of Missouri in 1980, and practicing in Maryland for two years, she elected to move west, drawn by Colorado’s great outdoors.

Board certified by The American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Roach enjoys the full spectrum of Family Medicine, including Pediatric and newborn care, women’s care, and care of the senior population. She has additional training in Travel Medicine.

Sue enjoys hiking, backpacking, biking, golfing, skiing, and snowshoeing. These outdoor pursuits, paired with a love of travel, have taken her around the United States, to the Alps, and to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro.
